63rd CPOY Call for Entries

It’s time! Time to take a hard look at all the good work you have done over the past year and pick out the best for entry in the annual College Photographer of the Year competition. Entry is free again this year courtesy of Nikon Inc. Entry deadline is midnight (Central Daylight Time), Friday, September 26, 2008.

CPOY’s mission of providing recognition for outstanding vision, reporting and storytelling while at the same time setting standards for student photojournalists remains as important today as when founder Cliff Edom held the first judging in 1945.

Please pay careful attention to all the entry information, giving the Multimedia category submission guidelines an extra careful eye, and as always, do your absolute best to enter correctly.

Judging will be November 10 - 15 on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. You are all cordially invited to attend, but if you can’t be with us, please watch the judging sessions via podcasts on our website starting November 10th.
