Head-On Collision
Margaret Mason, 63, of Marion County, Ky. attempts to remove the victim of a head-on collision on highway 50 outside of Lebanon, Kentucky October 31, 2009. The crash resulted in the hospitalization of 5 people, two of which were flown directly to Louisville hospital from the scene.

Jim Scheeley
James Scheeley, 53, is the senior advisor, spokesperson, and right-hand man of Ron Edwards, the Imperial Wizard and national leader of The Imperial Klans of America. When the Klan's compound was raided by the FBI in May and Imperial Wizard Edwards was arrested on drug charges, Scheeley inherited the main leadership role over the group.

Plastic Affection
Price Ritchie, 53, sits with his $5,000 sex doll at his home in Paducah, Ky.. Ritchie purchased the love doll after a period of loss in which is mother and brother died and his wife divorced him. "I tried everything to fill a void in my life after they were gone, but I needed to feel something next to me in bed at night, and Bella (the doll) helps with that." While Ritchie does not converse with the doll, he admits that she gives him a considerable amount of companionship.

Residents nearby the FTX called the county sheriff's office upon hearing semi-automatic gunshots from the site of the training in Roseville, Ohio on Aug. 21, 2010. Upon arrival, law enforcement was briefed on the training and were informed that only blank rounds were being fired. No arrests or charges were filed.

Feeling the stress of his recent marijuana-related arrest and the lack of attendance at an annual Klan gathering, Klansman Jeremy Katro,30, holds his head. "Everything is just so f--ked up right now," he said. "I feel deserted." Jeremy became involved with the white power movement in junior high and continues to live on the Klan's compound.
