Domestic Picture Story
The drama of life. In the morning of the 4th of December 2009 Maria's water broke. But there would go more than 29 hours before her and Kristian's little daughter Mynthe would be born.
22.56 pm. Maria and Kristian arrived to the hospital a couple of hours ago. There is relaxing music playing from the computer.
11.54 pm. Maria is for the first time in the big tub, in which she has wished to give birth. The light is dim and there is soft music on the stereo. Maria and Kristian are beginning to feel tired.
2.56 am. Maria's contractions are getting more and more painful.
8.44 am. The sun is rising. While Kristian is getting a 30 minute nap, Maria is keeping focus on her breathing. It has now been more than 24 hours since her water broke.
10.23 am. There has been no progress for the last 5 hours, so Maria and Kristian make the to hard decision that the only way out is a Cesarean section. It is not what they wanted.
11.17 am. The scream spreads joy. Mynthe Allingham Maansson is born.
Mynthe weighs 3410 grams and is 55 cm long. Like her big brother Albert she has big feet. For three hours she stares at her father and mother. And then she sleeps.
