On election night, November 2, 2010, Tom Keane waits in the hallway of The Draft in Concord, NH, as Andy Sanborn and his wife, Laurie, escape the stress of election night and have a moment to themselves. Andy and Laurie were both awaiting election results; Andy was awaiting the results of a State Senate race for District 7 while his wife, Laurie, was awaiting the results for State Rep. Laurie eventually won her race, while Andy was still awaiting the results at midnight. Eventually, Andy also won his election making him one of the many new Republicans voted into office in an election that saw a massive change in power, not only in New Hampshire, but also across the country.

The day before his one year deployment to Afghanistan, Spc. Jason Cromwell comforts his girlfriend Ashley Werst as they prepare to leave Cromwell’s mother, Linda Slosser’s house after several failed attempts to leave and Slosser’s suggestion that leaving wasn’t going to get any easier in Wahoo, Neb. on Oct. 27, 2010. Cromwell and Werst ended up staying longer to continue talking for almost another hour.
