Call for Entries:
58th Annual College Photographer of the Year Competition

58 CPOY : Call For Entries : Prizes

First Place Portfolio:  A Leica M7 0.72 Black camera body with Leica M50 f/2.0 Summicron lens, a National Press Photographers Foundation $1,000 scholarship award honoring the memory of Col. William J. Lookadoo, and a plaque. The winner is invited to receive the award and present work at the annual Picture of the Year International awards ceremony on April 16 and 17, 2004.

Second Place Portfolio: A full fellowship to the Poynter Institute’s Photographic Reporting, Connecting With Communities workshop, a $500 scholarship award honoring the memory of Milton Freier presented by the National Press Photographers Foundation, and a plaque.

Third Place Portfolio: An Apple IPod, a $250 cash award and a plaque.

On-line/ Multimedia: Gold winner receives a full participant fellowship to the Visual Edge Workshop at the Poynter Institute.

Documentary: Gold winner receives a tuition scholarship to the Missouri Photo Workshop, September 2004.

Individual Categories: Gold winners in categories 1 - 11 will receive 20 rolls of Fuji film. All award winners will receive special recognition certificates. Judges may elect not to award all medals in all categories. Gold, silver and bronze designations will be awarded rather than
First, Second and Third places.

POYi Winners’ Presentations: All winners and entrants are invited to the Pictures of the Year International Award Ceremony in Columbia, Missouri on April 16 and 17, 2004. Presentations will be given by top Picture of the Year International winners and the College Photographer of the Year. You must register in advance and information on how to do so will be available at http://cpoy.org.
