Members of the "pink
ladies" get prepared for the half-mile swim to start the
14th annual Danskin Women's Triathlon. Over 2,300 women competed
in the 2003 Danskin Women's Triathlon Series at Cherry Creek State
Park. The race started Sunday, August 3, 2003 at 7 a.m.
Al Myers of Abeline,
Kan., made the trip down to Tulsa to compete and win the "weight
for height" competition. Myer successfully threw a 56lb ball
14ft in the air Saturday at the Scottish Games at Chandler Park.
